There has been a recent surge in international scams targeting hotel guests. If you receive a message via WhatsApp / Viber or SMS purportedly from us or a booking platform asking for "card verification", it is a scam — our hotel will never ask for payment details this way.

Valeni Boutique Hotel is located on the 11th km. of the national road connecting Volos and Hania on the entrance of Portaria to Pelion.
Portaria is at a distance of just 13km. from the city of Volos; follow the road signs at the entrance to the city and they will lead you straight to the village.
From Athens via the Athens – Lamia Motorway, the distance is 324 km and there are frequent Bus Services, operated by the National Bus Service (KTEL), while the journey takes 4 hours. There are also EXPRESS services (which do not stop at Almyros or Nea Aghialos).
From Thessaloniki the distance is 216km. The bus to Volos takes 2 hours and 30 minutes.
Trains (from Athens – Thessaloniki) stop in Larissa, where you may take a different train to Volos. The nearest international and domestic airports are Nea Anchialos National Airport just outside of Volos, Makedonia airport in Thessaloniki and El. Venizelos airport in Athens with frequent flights, operated by Greek and foreign airline companies.
There are also direct Charter flights to the airport of Nea Aghialos, as well as scheduled flights from a number of airline companies.
