By bus / By rail / By plane
Valeni Boutique Hotel is located on the 11th km. of the national road connecting Volos and Hania on the entrance of Portaria to Pelion.
Portaria is at a distance of just 13km. from the city of Volos; follow the road signs at the entrance to the city and they will lead you straight to the village.
In case you don’t have a means of transportation, we provide with some useful information on how to reach Volos and we will be pleased to pick your up from there and provide the transportation to the hotel.
Destination Volos
By bus
From Athens via the Athens – Lamia Motorway. The distance is 324 km and there are frequent Bus Services, operated by the National Bus Service (KTEL), while the journey takes 4 hours. There are also EXPRESS services (which do not stop at Almyros or Nea Aghialos).
From Thessaloniki, 216km.
The bus to Volos takes 2 hours and 30 minutes.
By rail
Trains (from Athens – Thessaloniki) stop in Larissa, where you may take a different train to Volos. For reservations, tickets and schedule enquiries please contact the Hellenic Railways Organization (OSE) by either calling the hotline 1110 or at 24210 28555, 24056 (Monday – Friday 07:30- 14:30)
By plane
The nearest international and domestic airports are Macedonia in Thessaloniki and El. Venizelos in Athens. There are daily, frequent flights, operated by all Greek and many foreign air companies.
